Yesterday we finally got to put Nathan's new bed together. He doesn't seem to even notice or care that he has a new bed, but it's cute and Jeff and I really like it. It makes his room seem much bigger without a huge crib in it.
We also had the kids paint their little pumpkins last night. Naturally, they had paint everywhere by the time they were done. We had a good time and it didn't take a whole lot of time.
He stays in. We shut his door and have a childproof cover over the handle so he can't just open the door. His crib has been set up as a toddler bed since he was 18 months old so it's not that much different for him. We have caught him playing with toys and threaten(sp?) to take away one of the toys he has in bed(usually a motorcycle, spiderman, or some lizards)and he won't get back out of bed. Usually, between 11-12am we open the kids doors so they can get out when they wake up.
He looks like such a big boy in his new bed! How does he do? Does he climb out of it or does he stay in it?
