Update

I will try updating this again soon. I graduated college in June with an Associates Degree - Adminstrative Assistant w/Medical option. I took a month off before job searching. I applied for a job at the end of last week and went in Monday for an interview, hired on tuesday, filled out papers, did a background check, a U.A., and a range of motion test on wednesday. They tried to get me working by today but we work faster than the computers can. So, I will be starting next week. I will be working at the local hospital in medical records. It is a full-time position, monday-friday, pays well and great benefits. I feel blessed to find this opportunity during such a difficult economy. Hope to post some pictures soon.

February

Well, lets see here. I am burning out on school. Six classes is a killer! I have about four weeks left and then Spring term, then I am done. I am getting excited and a bit nervous.

The kiddos are doing wonderful, except in the attitude department but I can't say that I don't know where they get it from. Bhaaahahaha.

I have been faithfully going to the gym now for six weeks, tomorrow. I am quite surprised that I haven't quit. I have been lacking in the "getting good sleep" department since I started school and now working out cuts into the little bit of sleep I do get. However, I feel great! A little tired, a little bit of pain, but totally worth it when I know I'm doing something great for my heart, mind, body, and soul. Oh, and last week I took up running. The last thing I thought I would ever do was run, other than to save my life, but I guess in a way I am saving my life. I ran 3 miles last week, and an amazing 4 miles this week. I thought I was going to puke but I made it. So, what if I am hobbling for the next couple of days, I freakin ran 4 miles! I run with five other ladies, so they keep me going. They are crazy! and I love them for it. When you go running at 5am in the rain, you must be crazy.

We are going to the Eugene area with friends and family for Madison's 5th birthday. We are going to Chuck E Cheese, thankfully it's in the middle of the week so they shouldn't be to busy(I hope).

Can't wait for spring, I know it's on it's way, my chives outside are about 6 inches tall already. Sorry this post is poorly written but I need to get to homework and I don't have time to fix it. Take care all!

It's Been A While

Sorry, I have been super busy with life so, I haven't found much time to blog. Not, that I haven't thought about it, that's for sure.

Whats Been Happening at the Sharlow's:

I am back to school. I have six classes this term and they are quite time consuming. Even my determination with being organized with school is not working so well for me this term. I was tutoring 8-9 hours a week up at the college. I have put my tutoring on hold while I try to get myself into a schedule that works. I will be graduating this June and I'm am excited and a little scared.

I went this last week and had my 3-month post op. for my Lasik. My vision is really good. I have a residual astigmatism that makes my vision fluctuate when I read street signs. Hopefully, my eyes will adjust to it over the next year and if it becomes to much of an issue there is still the option for a retouch. My vision is solid 20/30, but I do see at 20/25 quite well, and sometimes my vision is 20/20. I can't complain and I don't ever have to wear glasses. I am excited that I get to take a trip to the DMV and have my vision restriction removed from my license.YAY!!!

I also have been going to the gym, yes I said gym, for the last few weeks. I take a group power class (weight training) and a Zumba class. I do both classes 2x a week and then one day I do the elliptical and free weights on my own. I am loving it!

Jeff is working hard for the money!!! He has no idea the gratitude I have for him allowing me to stay home with the kids for the last five years, and for letting me go to college and get a degree. I don't think I could ever repay him for the amazing opportunity he gave me.

Madison is going to be five next month!!! Who said she could grow up so fast? I know it wasn't me. My little girl is amazing, bad attitude and all. She has lost three teeth over the last year. The third one she just pulled a few days ago. She is a bit advanced on the whole tooth business. Most kids don't start losing teeth till five or six. She's a pretty tough girl who can certainly hold her own, but she does it wearing a princess dress and a tiara.

Nathan is amazing in the word department! He speaks in full, 8-10 word, understandable sentences. I am blown away at how well he understands words. He is growing like a weed and is cute as can be. He loves to play super heroes, jump off the highest thing he can find, and doesn't like going to bed or taking naps.

I can't wait for spring!Pendleton is normally pretty cold in the winter but we get a lot of sunshine. That however, is not the case this year. I feel like we are living back down in Eugene/Springfield. It has been cold, rainy, and overcast for far too long. I am sick of it and need more sun, STAT!

Sorry this post is soooooo long. I will try to post more often but, no guarantees.
